Experimenting
I remember saying, once, "I don't sketch. I do paintings." Sketchbook practise is an absolutely vital part of creating art, I know that, I'm just not good at it! I want each page to be as a painting, perfect and finished. So I'm learning to be less precious by first using the page for notes, puzzles, scrapbooking, and doodles, and then sketching over the top of it.
